I don't think the dialogue with Bardakoglu will come to much, but we'll see.

I'm awfully glad to see Benedict carry on John Paul's legacy of dialogue with the Orthodox churches however and expect Benedict and Bartholomew to hit it off well.
As some of you know I intend, after I retire to become a secular Orthodox Priest and so I'm glad to see a reconciliation between East and West and a movement towards a once again united Christendom.

It did however strike me as interesting that all three men in the series of meetings in Turkey have names starting with the letter B.

I wouldn't mind touring the Hagia Sophia myself. Of all the great historical churches in the world that would rank right up there as one of my top two or three favorites to visit.

Thousands gathered Nov. 4 at Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's mausoleum in Ankara, Turkey, to rally against what they see as radical Islamic threats to the secular Turkish republic.

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Benedict XVI will meet in Turkey later this month with a top Islamic cleric who denounced the pope's remarks on Islam and violence.
During the pope's Nov. 28-Dec. 1 visit to the predominantly Muslim nation, he will also visit a symbol of Turkey's official commitment to secularism — the mausoleum of the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who is honored as the founder of the modern Turkish state.

The Vatican on Saturday released details of the trip, which was originally planned so that Benedict could meet with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, the Istanbul-based spiritual leader of the world's Orthodox Christians, as the pontiff pursues closer relations among Christians.

But the trip quickly turned into a test of Catholic-Muslim relations after much of the Muslim world reacted angrily to a Sept. 12 speech in which Benedict quoted a 14th-century Byzantine emperor describing Islam as a religion spread by the sword.

One of the first to decry Benedict's speech was Turkey's president for religious affairs, Ali Bardakoglu, a top Islamic cleric who said criticism of Islam threatened world peace. Benedict and Bardakoglu will meet within hours of the pope's arrival in Ankara, the Turkish capital, on Nov. 28. The pope will also deliver a speech during his encounter with the cleric, the Vatican said.

Nancy Pelosi, flush with recent electoral victories, and acting as the presumptive first female Speaker of the House, has secretly promised liberal campaign contributors to the Democratic party a “San Francisco Style” impeachment of President Bush.

Asked at the secret meeting exactly what that might mean Pelosi hinted that it might have something to do with WMDs, abused intelligence, chains, leather, and a probable deep House Probe.

“We’re thinking at this moment that the best course of action might involve three, or possibly four, men of gay marriage age named Chad, Thad, Tad, and Brad. It might also involve methamphetamines, a rub off by a Mexican coyote, and a tax increase on the wealthy,” future Speaker Pelosi said from the podium, speaking on condition of anonymity.

“The Republicans have been thoroughly humbled, now is the time to Dominatrix. President Bush can learn what it’s like to deal with a real woman for a change.” The crowd erupted in applause. Throwing off all of their clothes several members of the audience were then catapulted into the air via the Cirque du Soleil big tent carnival gun. “Hooray, we’re back, and we’re fabulous!” the crowd chanted.

When order was finally restored after the sheep and Cambodian monkey orgy Speaker-to-Be Pelosi continued, “We do not though, at this time, intend to remove President Bush from Office!” The crowd fell silent from the sudden, stunning, and unexpected revelation.

“Instead we intend to convert him to our more enlightened and well-groomed lifestyle. We’re partnering him up with Al Gore who has developed a special therapy which we believe can convert dismayed Red State men into open minded and personally experimental, big-city, globally warmed and toasty metrosexuals. If the therapy works then we intend to use abortion clinic stem cell lines to clone the treatment and ship it to North Korea and Iran as biological weapons loosed in their discothèques and pornographic missile silos,” Ms. Pelosi proclaimed.

“As you can see we’ve thought of everything and expect to have soon created a worldwide libertine Utopia free of misunderstanding, and to have doubled our UN blue ribbon commissions while simultaneously drawing down our troop deployments from Vietnam. I mean Iraq. We intend instead to make New Haven, British Columbia, and Baja, California the new fronts in the War on Terror. This is not a War to be won anymore, I’m not sure I even know what that means; this is a problem to be solved. And by solved I mean we need a new direction,” said Pelosi gesturing vaguely towards the dusky distance. “Somewhere out there is a War solution, and I’m determined to channel it.”

Several thousand members of the audience began to raise bangles to the air and cheer, “Four More Rears! Four More Rears!” Chad, Tad, Thad, and Brad were hastily rushed on stage with the Speaker.

Satisfied she had finally made her point the soon to be Speaker exited the stage quietly, seemingly unnoticed as a host of male escort dancers dressed in pink flamingo dresses burst from a confetti cake with lavender and gold icing which read, “Congrats Nan, Now You’re the Real Speaker of the House!”

When shown a video tape of the meeting Vice President Dick Cheney responded by saying, “I don’t know what in the hell she’s talking about. Everybody knows that if you go just about anywhere except in a Muslim country the woman is always the Real Speaker of the House. That’s just the way God made em. Nancy Pelosi will talk your ear off if you let her, just like that Lincoln Chafee chick. Anybody seen her lately by the way? Nevermind. Somebody get my 20 gauge girl gun, I’m going huntin for the Christmas recess.”

Contrary to popular belief, child-rearing may make men smarter

Though men do seem to be getting better at playing stay-at-home dad, they still can’t claim to be the best fathers in the animal kingdom. Among primates, that honor may belong to marmosets, small tree-dwelling monkeys whose males spend 70 percent of their time caring for newborns. The result of all this baby time, according to new research, adds up to more than just a sensitive monkey. The nurturing actually boosts mental activity.

To learn more about the effects of fatherhood on the brain, Princeton University psychologist Yevgenia Kozorovitskiy and her colleagues compared the brains of marmoset dads with those of offspring-less monkeys. The fathers had more well-connected neurons in the prefrontal cortex, an area associated with higher-level planning and tasks. Kozorovitskiy also identified an uptick in the number of receptors for a molecule that previous research has linked to parenting. This fact, she says, suggests that the brain changes don’t simply stem from the onset of the busier life that follows the arrival of a new family member, but from parenting itself. Kozorovitskiy cautions that the work isn’t directly applicable to humans, although other research has linked parenting with increased brain activity in humans. If nothing else, it could provide new dads with the ammo needed to extend their paternity leave.

Indeed the Masterlator did not omit any of the more important achievements of his fascinating discovery. However I cannot help but personally comment that we are all awaiting with barely repressed enthusiasm this conclusive march towards human progress and all that is truly good in our own minds. But when can we actually expect the arrival of this new era of fabulous and finally realized potential? Being a journalist and full of the same sort of internet integrity as the Masterlator himself I fully understand my professional obligation to remain impassive, neutral, and objective as great events shape our world, but as a living, breathing primate I felt compelled to ask the really hard questions if only to ready myself, and you good reader and true believer, for this monumental and primal evolutionary achievement. So I asked.

“When, good sir, will all my problems be solved and when will I too bask in the glory of knowing the much coveted Secrets of the Life, the Universe, and Everything?”

“Why the answer is so simple,” replied the Master of the Motherboard, the Sage of All Servers, the Wizard of the Web. “Just do like I do and as soon as everyone’s like me then that’s exactly what you’re bound to get.”

More and more cars stolen in Norway are turning up in Iraq, with some of them being used by suicide bombers.

These three cars stolen in Norway were found in northern Iraq. They were photographed at the Turkish border, waiting to get sent back to Norway.

The European license plate on this stolen car was merely covered by an Iraqi plate.

The car thefts in Norway are thus being linked to terrorist activity and the financing of terrorism.

Car thefts have often been carried out by criminals who later use them in armed robberies, the drug trade or for sale in developing countries. Investigators are now tracking them to the Middle East, where sometimes their license plates are merely covered over by local plates...

I have said for years and years now that Europe is a far greater danger to Civilization in this world than any third world tyranny, any Iraq, or even an Iran or North Korea.

Iran is fanatical. North Korea, cunning and dangerous. Ultimately though both can be dealt with as external threats, which both are, and so the danger they pose is primarily only physical.

But Europe..., Europe has for at least three decades now been the most corrupting influence on World Civilization to be found on the face of this planet. And Europe spreads this corruptive rot everywhere her political and diplomatic tentacles can reach.


For a long time I have told my friends and family that Europe is the real enemy of the United States and the most pervasive and corrupting influence upon the American Republic of any power in this world. That modern Europe is corruption incarnate, bent on self-destruction and naively oblivious of the radiant influence of decay, degeneration, and corruption it emanates constantly outward upon the rest of the world.

Europe is the Modern Bane of the West, having abandoned everything good they once were, having instead relentlessly pursued their own worst impulses, and not content merely to wallow in their own state of corpulence and rot, they insist doe-eyed and in a state of perfect sincerity that somehow they represent true progress and civilization. They represent neither, and have not for a very long period of time. Europe is by far the most dangerous enemy of the West, because she lives in our midst as a supposed secondary champion of Western Values, whereas in truth Europe infects the West with a kind of seeming reason, which weakens slowly, and persistently, like an unnoticed environmental pathogen. She is a background viral infection, she is a Carrier of Rot disguised as an immunization against barbarism, but in fact she is Sub-Rosan, an agent of sedition, a spy against the very ideals she proclaims to protect. And unless reform begins soon, time will prove me out on this matter.

This is hardly the first time in history that the Continent has fallen into a state of self-consumptive sin and hardly the first time in history it has worked tirelessly to spread European diplomatic and idealistic perfidy camouflaged and disguised as enlightenment and civilization, and it will no doubt hardly be the last such occasion. But America, as the true champion of the West does itself a fool's disaster of easily avoidable harm not to recognize the wolf in his own bed, purposely ignoring the easily visible agent provocateur dressed as the faithless lover. Europe is an internal threat to the West. It is that simple, and that easy to understand.

My friends and family used to laugh and scoff at the idea that Europe was the true enemy of the United States. But over the years, since 9/11 at least, many have now come to recognize the prescience of my observations. They might still not completely agree with me, but most now intuitively understand exactly what I mean.

Europe is regressive, not progressive, it is a stagnant economic cesspool, it becomes ever more an historical anomaly with each passing year, spiritually she is dead, philosophically she is impotent, militarily she is decrepit - she has no innovation, no mission, no purpose (other than directionless existence and slow decline), and yet still she grimly and fiercely breeds from the threadbare couches of her political and governmental chambers the most corrupting, and diseased, and ultimately self-destructive ideas possible, as if she were an insect Queen of Catastrophe.

And she is a catastrophe. By almost any measure of Civilization, she is a whorish, self-consumed, and self-consuming cancer upon progress in the rest of the world.
Europe is not a beacon to the World; she is a bait waiting in the dark, shadowed like the Siren, giving aid to the cutthroat who creeps from behind.

Can she be saved, resurrected, and reformed?
Anyone, anything, and any civilization can be if it is so determined.
And I encourage those in Europe who do not wish to see her yet again slide into a dark morass of disastrous danger to re-win your various nations, work to save Italy, and Germany, and Spain, and even France from what approaches. Yet you would be wise to move quickly, for delay makes you less yourself with each passing day, and more the agent of your own destruction.

But until the day comes that the average citizen of the various nations of Europe rise up and take back their own countries, throw off their own shackles of disintegration, and put aside current European ideas and ideals of degeneration and decay, the Great Republic should have nothing more in common with the Old World. Because commonality and brotherhood is built upon far more than history, it is built upon ongoing Integrity.

The Old World can be reborn, but at this moment she is nothing more than a Walking Corpse, and a Carrier of Disease which America can in no way afford to either soberly commune with, or even take seriously.

The real question is not, "Is Europe Morally Unserious?"
The Real Questions are, "When will America realize what a moral threat Europe is to the West and Western Ideals of True Civilization?" and "What will the Europeans Do About their Own Race Towards Moral Suicide?"

A general estimate is that Saddam Hussein killed 300,000 people, started two major wars (the first against Iran, costing a million lives, and the second against Kuwait, with perhaps 100,000 dead); according to the New York Times’ latest zig-zag, he came within a year of producing a nuclear bomb that could have been used to kill additional millions, and ensured the survival of his tyranny for the foreseeable future. For sheer sadistic mayhem, like routine rape and murder, there has been no worse regime than Saddam.

For the first time in human history, a mass-murdering tyrant on this scale has been caught, tried, and convicted in an open court of law. The people of Iraq and surrounding countries have been able to see him tried on television. Saddam has been sentenced to hang, according to Iraqi law, legitimized by the only elected government in the Arab Middle East.

As many of you know I have for a long time been tracking crimino and narco terrorist efforts to smuggle weapons and contraband for the execution of attempted operations in various parts of the world. This article deals with a recent attempt by terrorist cells to produce a workable operation involving thermobaric and related explosive devices in Britain.

What is of especial interest to me personally is the public reporting of the IRA and FARC working in collaboration in order to attempt the manufacture of a fuel air explosive, and the refinement and distribution of the accompanying chemical formula.

As many of my other readers also know IRA agents have freelanced for a long time in teaching Palestinian and Arab terrorists better and more effective methods for the construction of homicide vests and other personal anti-personnel and anti-civilian weaponry.

An operational and practically deployable thermobaric weapon, perhaps combined with secondary chemical agents (assuming such agents could survive the enveloping thermal cloud) or combined with secondary chemical agents and explosives used against first responders would make a formidable multi-stage or multi-attack weapon system for the arsenals of various terrorist groups.

Such weapons would not even have to be deployed often, as, having once been demonstrated effective by a successful public operation, they could then be used as weapons of extortion.

Additionally multiple weapons of this type, deployed strategically in a small area could potentially have an effect similar to, if not greater than, the Oklahoma City Bombing, as evidenced by the attempted Gas Limos Project.

I wrote this article as a result of a brief exchange that passed between another blogger and myself on her blog about the nature of modern technology and informational overload. I began discussing with her that her observations were reflective of several of the problems associated with God Technology and from her responses I understood that she did not really understand what I was speaking about. Which is completely understandable as the term is of my own coinage (I am not aware of anyone else using the term and especially not of using any related term as I define it) and I have, outside of discussions with a few close friends and closely guarded and tightly circulated papers, never before made the details of these ideas public.

But after the exchange described above I felt it would be easier to start to more widely publish these ideas and essays in order to avoid having to explain them at length every time I mention the term God Technology.

I have over the years developed several papers and essays regarding the ideas surrounding God Technology (and related theories and applications) but have always resisted fully discussing the term, or publishing my own theories concerning God Technology. But I’ve come to a point where I now feel it is the appropriate time.

So, after my exchange with Heather I sat down and wrote this basic introductory work to the theory.

An Introduction to God Technology: A Basic and Working Definition





God Technology is simply the theory I have had for years now concerning technology that mimics or replicates powers traditionally ascribed to God, and the stages by which that technology is manifested in human society, and what form that manifestation takes in each separate stage.

For instance the television is God Technology, though because we are so used to it and it is so ubiquitous few people ever think of it that way. But the television intercepts hidden and invisible and otherwise undetectable (without the use of technology) radio waves, in real time, which also are capable of carrying visual data and through use of an interface allows the viewer to see things occurring well beyond the range of their own optical senses. God can see distant places which no human could perceive because of sensory limitations, and yet now through devices like the television, internet, radio, radio antennas, satellite transmissions, cell phones, etc men can partially and practically mimic more and more of those same capabilities of perception and communication.

With computers men can accumulate, store, and replicate data that would normally be inaccessible to any ordinary individual, no matter the context, content, or volume of the data point.

Video and computer games allow people to enter virtual environmental mock-ups of the real world and practice real world skills in game form (though this application is rarely if ever fully and properly exploited by either player or game designer/manufacturer), thereby developing latent or nascent talents in an individual that might otherwise never be exploited or exercised. These skills of course in no way need necessarily be limited to "game skills in an artificial and unreal environment" but could also include the practice of real world mental, psychological, behavioral, spiritual, and (as control schemes and devices become ever more biologically and one day even genetically interactive) probably even physical skills.

And that's what I mean by God Technology. God has the ability to intercept, perceive and make use of, as well as decode and decrypt, huge amounts of data and information which no other individual or singular operative could possible perceive (because of sensory and physical limitations) and then discern or even create practical patterns in that informational background environment in a useful way. Instead of the general background radiation field of the universe, think of it as a General Background Informational and Data Field of the World.

Because there is currently so much data available in the world no human being, or even corporate cluster of human beings, can efficiently absorb and employ such a swell of information and such an array of indecipherable data patterns. Technologies are now being developed, and will continue to be developed, to sift this almost constant and ceaselessly changing data stream to better allow humans to perceive such patterns and to make better use of a stream that is moving far too fast and is far too large in volume for individuals to properly exploit. However much more work needs to be done in the area of developing technologies that make God-like data fields understandable and useful to the ordinary and average human consumer of information. Or even to the technical specialist.

If I may use a simplistic analogy, several centuries ago data streams were just that, small streams of basically disconnected data and information which were available to relatively few individuals who could make relatively little use of that data (in comparison to the full potential implications of the data) and could access that information in what was in effect only a very limited number of ways. A century ago that data began to collect in larger and larger tributaries and eventually into huge rivers, which might be compared analogously to the Mississippi or Amazon Rivers, or like the Nile.

Now data is clustered into huge, but as still not fully connected or linked, seas similar in many ways to the Mediterranean and Baltic Seas. And these data seas are accessible at numerous points. But because these data seas are in such a constant state of flux, are so huge, and in some cases, still so difficult to access it is impossible for an individual to successfully fish that Sea for everything they want, or could even potentially make use of for simple reasons of physical limitations and geography. (I'm speaking about data and informational geography, not just physical geography.) And in some cases real geographic, political, and cultural barriers prevent "sea-hopping" from one body of data, information, and even intelligence, to another.

Eventually technologies will have to be developed to allow humans to better "fish" the Seas for what they want, can make use of, or to be able to better discern patterns and information hidden beneath the surface. Because soon enough those Seas of Data will become Oceans of Data, Information, and Intelligence.

But suffice it to say that God Technology is simply any technology that allows man to mimic powers and capabilities and abilities traditionally ascribed throughout history to God. To see the invisible, hear the silence, reduce distance, manipulate time and space, discern behavioral patterns, deduce intuitive answers and solutions in a real time fashion, solve complex problems interactively and/or near instantly, and so forth and so on. As a matter of fact most any piece of human technology can be used as God Technology if it is properly employed in that way and is thought about in that way. God Technology is not simply the technology itself, but the application and how it is employed.

Eventually I hope to tie several of these related ideas into a sort of grand scheme or structure which will allow God Technology efforts in several spheres of human activity, such as the scientific, religious, artistic, cultural, military, intelligence, law enforcement, exploratory, communicative, and academic arenas to proceed in an interrelated fashion of cross fertilization.

For now I'll just close this introductory article with a simple, Basic and Working Definition of God Technology:


God Technology: Any technology or technological device that allows the user or users to mimic, imitate, or replicate those abilities, capabilities, powers, and capacities historically and previously ascribed only to God. God Technology is not simply the matter of the functional capability of the technology itself, but also the manner and method of the applications of the various functional capabilities of a given technology.
